The gas detector installation position should be confirmed according to the weight of the detected gas compared with air. If the detected gas weight is less than air, the gas detector should be installed on ceiling or near ceiling. If the detected gas is heavier than air, the gas detector should be installed near floor on the wall.
Most gas leakage detector is independent with sound light warning on site.
